stations are

the
following
information
will be
helpful.

The Chicago area offers five Amtrak railway stations with Union station located on South Canal Street being the main station where you can purchase tickets, check in baggage and a lounge for those holding sleeping car tickets. The Metropolitan lounge also offers Internet connection and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. If you wish to purchase tickets in advance, a direct link to Amtrak is provided at the top of this page or you can call Peabody Travel for assistance. Union station opens at 5:30 am and is open until midnight, seven days a week.
The four additional Chicago area Amtrak stations are located in Summit, La Grange, Hammond and Glenview. Glenview is the only other station where you can purchase tickets. Peabody Travel is open at 4am CST, Monday through Saturday at 6am on Sundays. We are available until 4pm. Our home page offers a chat option and a 24-hour request call back function. We cannot guarantee the time of response on call back request after hours but, if an agent is in the office after hours we will respond.
